What is Workforce Mutuality?
Workforce Mutuality is the extent to which the diversity of the workforce of an organisation or a sector reflects the actual diversity of the community.
Diverse workplaces perform better overall. They are more efficient, resilient, creative and better at problem solving. Health services benefit from being more adaptable and universally responsive.
Workforce mutuality requires leadership at all levels, starting with executive leadership.
Who should come?
Executive leaders from health and community service organisations in Melbourne’s west are invited to learn from experts and colleagues how to:
- Lead workforce mutuality
- Foster a culture of readiness
- Use staff diversity data
- Huss Mustafa, General Manager Diversity, Commonwealth Bank
- Hutch Hussein, Senior Manager, Diversity Unit, Brotherhood of St Laurence
- Sharon Read, Executive Lead - Experience, cohealth
Check out information on the Melbourne zoo website about getting there.
